USAID plans to support Azerbaijani regions

Finance Minister Samir Sharif and the new head of the US Agency for
International Development (USAID) in Azerbaijan, Michael Green,
discussed today the current level of cooperation between the countries
and its prospects, the website of the Finance Ministry states, Trend
reports.

Green said that by the end of this year USAID will start a project to
support the socio-economic development of Azerbaijani regions. The
organization has also proposed to implement a new project in the
country's health system.
