Major terrorist attack prevented in Kabardino-Balkaria

A special operation held in Kabardino-Balkaria which resulted in the
death of six militants enabled the prevention of a major terrorist
attack, RIA Novosti reports, citing the press service of the National
Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC).

According to NAC, the militants were planning a terrorist act against
the military. They had an improvised explosive device with a force
equivalent to 10 kilograms of TNT.
