Law enforcement officials identified five of the six militants killed in the raid on Friday in the Elbrus region of Kabardnino-Balkaria, RIA Novosti reports referring to the operational headquarters in Kabardino-Balkaria.
Clashes began around 06.00 MSK on Friday in the woods near the federal road connecting Baksan and Azau near the village of Neitrino. During the operations six militants and one law enforcement officer were killed, another five security officials were wounded.
