South Ossetia negotiates recognition

The semi-recognized republic of South Ossetia is trying to negotiate recognition of its independence by launching talks with 25 states, RES news agency cites the republic's ministry of foreign affairs.

"Last year we launched talks with 25 states in order to negotiate recognition of our state. This process continues," republican minister of foreign affairs Murat Dzhioyev told members of the republic's parliament during a specially-organized meeting.
