Today retired officers took over the parliament of South Ossetia, demanding a change in the Constitution and permit President Kokoity to run for a third term, notwithstanding the decision made by the Supreme Court, Vzglyad newspaper reported.
The Supreme Court of South Ossetia stated that the possibility of holding presidential office for three terms in a row by one person doesn’t correspond to the constitutional law 'On a referendum in South Ossetia'.
At the moment the chairman of the parliament of South Ossetia is gathering a press conference to make a series of statements.
