Heavy rains and hail have damaged farms in Karachay-Cherkessia, head
of the section for seeding and mechanization of the Agriculture
Ministry of the republic Nikolai Pronoza said, RIA Novosti reports.
Over 1,500 hectares of land were damaged. Sugar beet, spring plants
and potato fields were damaged in the municipalities of Khabezsky,
Adyge-Hablsky, Nogaysky and Prikubansky.
