The Russian parliament will hold talks on the Russian-Azerbaijani
border agreement. The border runs from the crossing point of the
Russian, Azerbaijani and Georgian borders to the Caspian Sea, RIA
Novosti reports.
The document was signed in Baku on September 3, 2010.
The border line corresponds to the administrative border between the
Dagestani and Azerbaijani Soviet republics.
Russia is the first state to sign a border deal with Azerbaijan.
The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that the two states have no
territorial claims.
The Azerbaijani-Russian land border is 284 km long. Russia has a total
border length of 60,000 km.
