Over 70 large families in Maikop, the capital of Adygeya, will receive
free land for housing construction in 2011, RIA Novosti cites Irina
Bocharnikova, chairwoman of the committee for property affairs, as
saying.
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev signed the law on free land for
large families on Thursday. The law on free land in Adygeya was
developed and passed in March 2011.
54 land lots have been registered. 70 will be registered this year.
They form new streets - Cherkesskaya, Fishtsky, Druzhba and Pavlov
Streets.
The committee has already received 40 requests for land. They will be
decided on within a month. The land will be leased for 10 years.
