Exchange programs in education are a solid foundation between the U.S. and Azerbaijan for friendship and a real basis for a strong international relationship, the U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Matthew Brayza, told reporters in Baku at an event dedicated to the US student exchange programs, Trend reports.
"We are proud of this program that brings together promising people from this country to get to know promising people from our country," he said.
"This year about 150 students are going to go to the U.S. for studying," the ambassador added.
The event in Baku was attended by high school students and graduate students.
