In the Kizlyar region of Dagestan a special operation to eliminate members of illegal bandit groups is taking place, during which five police officers have been shot dead.
In the early morning of June 21st the police confronted a group of criminals in a forest. According to preliminary data, several bandits were killed.
Interfax reports that 12 police officers were injured.
