Azerbaijan improves cooperation with Iran in sphere of education

The Azerbaijani Education Minister, Misir Mardanov, has held a meeting with Iranian ambassador Muhammedbagir Bahrami and the Dean of the Private University of Islam, Abdulla Kasabin. The meeting saw agreement on development and improvement of cooperation in the sphere of education, reports 1news.az, citing the press-service of the Azerbaijani Education Ministry.
The Azerbaijani Minister noted that, despite the difference in the universities' international cooperation experience, relations in sphere of education between Iran and Azerbaijan are carried out at top level. The Iranian side pointed out the historical and cultural unity with Azerbaijan. This common background will, without doubt, provide for closer cooperation in all possible directions, noted the Iranian representative.
