Turkish and Syrian foreign ministers have telephone conversation

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has had a telephone
conversation with his Syrian counterpart Walid Muallem, TRT reports.


They discussed the military activities on the Turkish-Syrian border,
the latest events in Syria and refugees fleeing to Turkey.


Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad urged Syrian refugees in Turkey to
return home early this week.


Muallem wants Turkey to reconsider its view on Syria.


Davutoglu also had a telephone conversation with the High
Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,
Catherine Ashton. They discussed support for Syrian refugees in Turkey
and events in the region.
