A state of emergency has been imposed in the village of
Novoalexeyevsky in the Kurganinsky district of Krasnodar Territory,
where hail has damaged power lines and the roofs of 50 houses, RIA
Novosti reports.
The village consists of Novoalexeyevskaya and the settlements of Urmia
and Visoky.
Hail destroyed about 2,000 hectares of crop fields. 80% of the
population was left without electricity, which is about 3,600 people
in Novoalexeyevskaya and about 1,800 in Visoky.
20% of the population of Novoalexeyevskaya (636 people) are still
without electricity. Power in Visoky has been restored.
