The next, 60th meeting of the Council of Defence Ministers - members of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS CDM), will be held in Sochi, on July 6 under the chairmanship of the Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov, RIA Novosti reports.
As expected, the meeting will determine how to implement the concept of military cooperation of the CIS up to 2015.
According to the Defense Ministry, the participants of the meeting will also consider the issues of military-technical cooperation in the field of integrated communication systems and automation of the interaction of engineering troops of the CIS member states, joint monitoring and evaluation of radiation, chemical and biological conditions, as well as will get acquainted with the analysis of aviation safety in the armed forces of the CIS countries.
