The first vessel of the Freedom Fleet is on its way to the Gaza Strip.

The other 10 vessels will follow it on Thursday or Friday. 20 states
have provided humanitarian aid for Gaza. About 500 activists from 45
states are involved.
The mission is aimed at breaking the blockade of Palestinian
territories by Israel. Tel Aviv said that it will stop the convoy and
use force if needed. Israel attacked the Mavi Marmara vessel of the
Freedom Flotilla last year. 9 people died. This year vessels will
start off from different ports to avoid any repeat of the tragic
