Georgian Foreign Ministry ready to negotiate violations of UN convention

Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze has sent a letter for
Russia to the Swiss Ambassador Gunther Bechler. The letter
says that Georgia is ready to discuss violations of the UN convention
with Russia, Trend reports.

The note highlights violations of the human rights of people driven
out of Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali Region, discrimination against
Abkhazian and South Ossetian territories until 2008, support of
violence, damage to property, violations of educational, cultural and
linguistic rights and the issuing of illegal passports.

The Hague Court confirmed the presence of a disagreement between
Russia and Georgia and urged them to start a dialogue on April 1.
