Two arms caches and a militant base were found and destroyed in the
Elbrus District of Kabardino-Balkaria, Rosbalt reports.
The base was revealed as part of a special operation in the area. The
law-enforcers found components for improvised bombs, 15 meters of
telephone cable, camouflage uniforms, two 10-liter gas containers,
extremist literature, medicine, food and tents. The base was located
in a mountainous area.
Two containers, one 30 liter and one 60 liter, were found 20-25 meters
from the river bank at Tyrnyauz in the Elbrus District. They contained
two AK magazines, two shots for an underbarrel grenade launcher, gas
tanks, over a hundred 7.62 mm bullets and 19 items of canned food. A
bomb was found by the Prokhladny-Azau road.
