A new radar system - Gadir - has been launched by Iran, Trend reported.
The range of new radar is 1100 km on the ground and 300 m in the air.
The radar has been used for discovering targets during the Major Prophets-6 military exercises, which started on Monday.
Iran says that the drills are being held to demonstrate the defense abilities of the country. The slogan of the exercises is “peace and friendship.”
