Turkish PM to form new government

Turkish President Abdullah Gul has ordered Prime Minister Recep Tayyip
Erdogan, leader of the Justice and Development Party of Turkey that
won the elections on June 12, to form a new government, RIA Novosti
reports.


Erdogan's party received 49.8% of vote and 327 out of 550 seats at the
parliament. It is the party's third victory since 2002. It now needs
276 votes of confidence. The new Cabinet will be announced at the end
of this week.
