Armenian president to visit Ukraine

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will visit Ukraine on July 1-2,
Mediamax reports.


Sargsyan will meet Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovych.
Ukraine will hold the Armenian Festival on June 30 - July 5. The
festival includes a photo exhibition entitled "Armenian footsteps in
Ukraine", demonstrations of Armenian films and other events.


Ukrainian Foreign Minister Constantine Grishenko visited Yerevan in
February 2011. A program of Armenian-Ukrainian cooperation for
2011-2012 was signed.


Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian noted that the program had
stimulated bilateral ties and had improved efficiency of bilateral
cooperation.


Nalbandian said that special attention had been paid to cooperation
within the OSCE, Ukraine will chair the organization in 2013.


Grishenko said that Kiev will too its best to settle frozen conflicts
and emphasized that Ukraine will give full support to the OSCE Minsk
Group.


Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan visited Kiev in February 2010,
attending the ceremony of inauguration of President Victor Yanukovych.
