Ayatollah Khamenei wants consolidation of Muslims in face of Western threat

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has met the
country’s authorities. He congratulated them on the birthday of the
Prophet Muhammad and urged Muslim states to follow the religious
principles of the prophet, Iran News reports.


Khamenei urged Muslims to consolidate in the face of the Western
threat and express tolerance. He said that Iran will support the
peoples of the Middle East and North Africa. The supreme leader said
that the US is trying to prevent the revolutionary process in Syria.
He expressed regret over the events in Bahrain and hopes that it will
achieve independence.
