Armenian Apostolic Church gets legal entity status in Georgia

The Georgian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church welcomes the
decision of the Parliament of Georgia to assign legal status to five

religious organizations, including the Armenian Apostolic Church,

News.am reports.

"This approach is characteristic of a democratic country. In Georgia,
not only the Armenian Apostolic Church, but the other religious

communities as well, were waiting for this decision for years" the

head of the Georgian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Bishop

Vazgen Mirzakhanian, said in a conversation with the radio station
"Svoboda" .
