French, Armenian presidents hold Paris talks

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and his French counterpart Nicolas Sarkozy discussed in Paris on Wednesday the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process, regional security, Armenian-Turkish reconciliation and other bilateral issues, News.am reported.

A French presidential spokesman said the talks were held in a friendly manner.

The leaders also exchanged views on the further development of bilateral trade and economic relations, as well as Armenia-EU cooperation.

An official dinner was held later in the Armenian president’s honor.
