The defense ministers of the CIS countries have adopted a scenario for joint air defense training, “Military Commonwealth-2011”, which will take place in August-October of 2011, the minister of defense of Russia Anatoly Serdukov stated, RIA Novosti reports.
The training will be comprised of three stages. It will take place in two areas: Kazakhstan and Russia.
At the 60th session of the defense ministers' council of the CIS countries in Sochi, issues of military and technical cooperation in the sphere of air defense were discussed.
The defense ministers are paying close attention to the development of integration processes.
