Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has prepared a message for
Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev and Armenian leader Serzh Sargsyan
containing proposals on the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process. The
conflict was discussed at a trilateral summit in Kazan, with
attendance of co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group (Russia, USA, France),
Russian Foreign Ministry says.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has recently met Azerbaijani
President Ilham Aliyev in Baku. Azerbaijani foreign minister will
visit Russia in near future.
Russia and Azerbaijan will exchange notes on ratification of the state
border agreement. The sides will discuss foreign political
cooperation.
Presidents Ilham Aliyev, Dmitry Medvedev and Serzh Sargsyan had a
trilateral summit in Kazan on June 24. They discussed the basic
principles of settling the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. It was the 9th
meeting of the kind in the last 3 years. No agreements were reached
but the sides stated progress in the peace process.
