Red Cross visits Armenian war prisoners in Azerbaijan

Members of the International Red Cross Organization have visited three Armenian prisoners of war and five members of an Armenian family in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.


The Red Cross handed four letters and three oral messages to them. The prisoners gave 5 letters to be sent to Armenia, press-secretary of the Red Cross office in Azerbaijan, Shakhla Gakhramanova, said.
Armenia has one Azerbaijani prisoner.


The Gevorkyan family consists of Yegishe, the father, his wife and three children. They entered Azerbaijan voluntarily. Yegishe Gevorkyan is suspected in a grave crime. He is believed to be hiding from the Armenian police.
