Khloponin permits lezginka dance on street

Russian Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the North Caucasus
Federal District, Alexander Khloponin, has permitted the lezginka
dance on the street, Yuga.ru reports.

Khloponin visited the Mashuk-2011 camp on June 10. A member of the
delegation from Kabardino-Balkaria, Azamat Nibezhev, raised the
lezginka question.

The envoy said that dancing is permissible as long as it does not
violate the law or offend others. Group dancing several months ago
stirred up the public. They had been organized to create social
tensions, he said.
