Pyatigorsk will construct a conference centre for international
exhibitions and forums in two years, RIA Novosti reports.
Construction was ordered by the Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to
the North Caucasian Federal District, Alexander Khloponin, and
Governor Gayevsky.
The hall will be constructed near the village of Inozemtsevo.
Pyatigorsk Mayor Lev Travnev said that they are negotiating the
project with investors.
The facility will cost $100 million. English architects were invited
to design a concept. The congress hall will have a 4-5 star hotel with
240 rooms, a concert hall and about 40,000 square meters of exhibition
space.
