Iran and Turkey viewed as guarantors of human rights in region

Iran and Turkey are speaking out against any violations of human
rights and suppression of people’s demands, Turkish Foreign Minister
Ahmet Davutoglu said, SalamNews reports.


Davutoglu held a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart
Ali Akbar Salehi. They discussed the latest events in the Middle East
and North Africa.


Salehi congratulated Davutoglu on the victory of his party and
underlined that his visit to Iran is a good beginning for further
cooperation.


The Iranian minister said that the situations in Syria, Bahrain, Yemen
and Libya are having an effect on international policy.


He also noted that Iran and Turkey have a trade turnover of $14
billion and may increase it to $30 billion in the near future.
