Azerbaijani Ambassador to Mexico Ilgar Mukhtarov has met Mexico City
Mayor Marcelo Ebrard and visited the ceremony dedicated to the
founding of a Mexican-Azerbaijani Friendship Park, SalamNews reports.
Mukhtarov thanked Ebrard for support in the project and underlined its
significance in developing cultural and political ties. A bilateral
agreement was aso signed.
Mukhtarov noted prospects for development of political, economic,
cultural, tourism and other ties. He stressed on interest in
developing ties between the two states.
Mukhtarov invited Mayor Ebrard to Azerbaijan. He noted the need for
more joint projects. Mexico Minister for Development and Housing
Affairs Felipe Leal was also at the signing ceremony.
