The parliament of Azerbaijan is working on a bill on ex-presidents,
parliamentary office head Safa Mirzoyev, said on Thursday. The bill
will be viewed in autumn 2011 or spring 2012, ANS reports.
The document is under preparation. Mirzoyev said that a bill on
political parties has also been prepared. Azerbaijani and foreign
experts, including members of the Venice Commission of the Council of
Europe, will discuss the bill in September-October. The document will
then be handed to the president.
