Azerbaijan has initiated a criminal case on the murder of a 13-year
old girl, Trend reports.
The case was initiated on article 120.2.12 (national, racial,
religious hatred) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code. Prosecutor of the
Tovz District, Asif Allahverdi, supervises the investigation.
The US embassy in Baku called for a scrupulous investigation.
Shakhmalyyeva Aygun Zireddin gyzy was killed by a bomb in the Alibeyli
village of Tovuz District on the border of Armenia. Her mother,
Shakhmalyyeva Elnara Mamedtagi gyz, was injured.
The bomb was put in a toy dog and set down near Tthe ovuz River.
Jafarov Elsevyar Gasan oglu and Shakhmalyyeva Aygun Zireddin gyzy
brought the toy home. It exploded.
The Shakhmalyyev family lives in Saint-Petersburg and was visiting
relatives at the Alibeyli village.
