Syrian colonel urges officers to rebel

Colonel Hussein Harmush, spokesman of the Free Officers of Syria
Movement, urged Syrian servicemen to join their movement, RIA Novosti
reports.


The colonel said that the fall of Bashar Assad's reign and victory of
Syrian people are inevitable. The movement consists of servicemen who
left Assad's army and joined the opposition since March 2011.


The first organization of Free Officers was formed in Egypt in 1949.
It organized a revolution in 1952. Such organizations were formed in
Libya, Yemen, Sudan and Iraq.
