Next talks on EU-Armenian Association scheduled for October

The seventh plenary session of negotiations for the Association
Agreement between the EU and Armenia is scheduled for October 2011,
the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
reported, based on the results of a meeting held in Brussels on
Friday.

The Armenian delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Karine
Ghazinyan. The European side was presented by director of the Office
for the "Eastern Partnership" program, Gunnar Wiegand.

The participants in the meeting discussed the purposes and principles
of a future agreement, issues of cooperation in the fields of
political dialogue, justice and security.
