A group of five will represent the Armenian National Congress (ANC) at
negotiations with the government at 16:00 today, News.am cites the
press-secretary of the ANC, Arman Musinyan.
The group was formed on July 2. It consists of the coordinator of the
ANC office Levon Zurabyan, chairman of the ANC central office David
Shakhnazaryan, member of the ANC economic commission and head of the
territorial structure of Malatia Vaagn Khachatryan, Secretary of the
People's Party of Armenia Felikt Khachatryan and Samvel Abramyan.
Press-secretary of the Armenian president Armen Arzumanyan said that a
group of two chairs per party was formed for the dialogue.
Parliament Speaker Ovik Abramyan said a working group was formed by
coalition parties from David Arutyun and Gagik Minasyan (Republican
Party), Nair Zograbyan and Vardan Bostanzhyan (Prosperous Armenia) and
Mger Shakhgeldyan and Khachik Arutyunyan (Orinats Erkir). They invited
the Congress to meet in the minor hall of the Public Council on July
18 at 16:00.
The ANC said on July 17 that it had never proposed a dialogue, which
means that the coalition initiated the talks.
