Armenia has released 533 prisoners and reduced sentences for 283,
according to information released on July 15, News Armenia reports.
The prisoners were released due to the amnesty that started on May 27.
The amnesty was announced to mark the 20th anniversary of
independence, initiated by President Serzh Sargsyan and approved by
the parliament on May 26. The process continues.
