Cooperation between Yerevan and Lyon will develop and will be enhanced with new initiatives, Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan said today at the meeting with Mayor of Lyon Gerard Collomb in Yerevan, News.am reports.
Serzh Sargsyan stressed decentralized cooperation plays an important role in high-level Armenia-France relations, the presidential press service said.
"We are happy the cooperation between Yerevan and Lyon continues and makes a significant contribution to improvement of two people's friendship," Sargsyan said, adding. "The friendship between Armenia and France has a long history and mutual sympathy has given an opportunity to Armenians to be fully integrated into French society and develop their capabilities and abilities."
