The chairman of the Russia-Azerbaijan friendship society, head of the Russian State University on Humanities, and member of the Russian Science Academy, Efim Pivovar became a member of the Council on science, technologies and education under President of the Russian Federation.
The Council is a consultation body. It was established to provide the head of the state with information on science, technology and education, as well as with communication with scientific organizations. The council develops proposals to president on current issues of innovative policy and policy in the sphere of education.
