Russian crime statistics dropped in the first half of 2011, Russian
Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev said, RIA Novosti reports.
The crime level dropped by 9.4%, compared with the same period in
2010. Serious crimes dropped by 13%. Hooliganism dropped by 20.3%.
Over 570,000 cases were investigated, including 10,500 grave crimes.
Guilt was found in over 710,000 cases.
Nurgaliyev pointed out the need for more support to police officers in
form of adaptation. Police officers need psychological rehabilitation
from everyday stress, he also said.
