Turkey is planning to introduce a fresh set of confidence-building measures as part of normalization efforts with neighboring Armenia, Turkey's Hurriyet Daily News reports.
According to the agency, sources close to the Yerevan government described these measures as “small, symbolic steps that go beyond church restoration.”
The Turkish news agency has learned that a decision was made by the Turkish authorities to send positive signals to the Armenian party. Such signals include measures to attract Armenian tourists to Istanbul
and Turkey in general.
