Krasnodar to start trial of former vice-governor

Krasnodar Territory will start the trial of Nikolai Dyachenko, former
vice-governor of Krasnodar Territory and former head of the local
office of Rosselkhozbank, on July 27, Yuga.ru reports.


Dyachenko will appear at the Pervomaysky District Court. He is
suspected of illegally granting a loan of 2 billion rubles. The case
started in September 2010. He had been the bank head in the region
since 2008. He had been Kuban vice-governor for the agricultural
industry since 2004.


The bank's deputy director Irina Yeliseyeva, founder of the Mayak
Company Andrey Bogdanov and the director general of Mayak, Irina
Okopnaya, are also to go on trial. They are suspected of exceeding
powers when issuing 2.21 billion rubles as loans.
