NATO planes make 163 flights per day

NATO planes involved in the Unified Protector Operation in Libya have
made 163 flights in one day, including 43 raids, destroying 3 tanks
and an SAM site, one valley fire system and a communications facility,
RIA Novosti reports.


NATO has made 16,444 flights, including 6,185 raids, in Libya since March 31.


The area is also patrolled by 17 NATO ships. 926 vessels have been
stopped for checking so far, including 19 on Sunday. The ships were
boarded 184 times and were made to change course 9 times.
