Iran welcomes Russia's efforts in settling nuclear row

Iran welcomes Russia's efforts in finding a diplomatic path to settle
the dispute over its nuclear program, a spokesman of the Iranian
Foreign Ministry Ramin Mehmanparast said, ITAR-TASS reports.


Commenting on Russia's invitation - sent by Russian Foreign Minister
Sergey Lavrov to his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi -
Mehmanparast underlined that the two states have regular talks and
Salehi's visit to Moscow will be their continuation.


The ministers will hold talks on bilateral relations, regional and
international situation, Russia's recent proposals on the nuclear
program. Iran wants to answer questions of the International Atomic
Energy Agency.


Sergey Lavrov said in Washington that a step forward needs to be made
towards every step of Iran. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had
agreed to cooperate with the world society, he said last week.
