Russian forces located at a military base in South Ossetia are conducting manoeuvres, the RES news agency reports.
The aim of the drill is to train soldiers and officers and improve their skills, so that the forces will be ready for possible combat in any weather conditions.
The training exercises will continue for 5 days.
