The United States denied Iranian accusations on Monday that it had assassinated one of the country's nuclear scientists, Hurriyet Daily News reports.
Iran's parliamentary speaker, Ali Larijani, blamed the US and Israel for the killing in a speech broadcast on Iranian state television.
US State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland, however, denied the allegations and told reporters in Washington the United States was not involved in the killing.
