The mayor of the Afghan city of Kandahar, Haidar Hamidi, was killed on Wednesday by a suicide bomber, Reuters reports.
The terrorist hid the bomb in his turban. He was in the corridor outside the mayor’s study when the bomb exploded. Nobody was hurt except Hamadi, who died immediately.
Hamadi died two weeks after a terrorist murdered the brother of President Karzai, Ahmed Vali Karzai, one of the most important people in Kandahar province.
