Today in Kaspiisk the Dagestan Economy Forum 2011 begins its work. The initiators of the forum are the authorities of Dagestan and the Agency of Investment and Foreign Economic Ties of Dagestan.
The official opening ceremony was held at the CASPY EXPO exhibit centre. Russian Presidential Envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District Alexander Khloponin participated in it.
Representatives of the Russian government, the Federation Council of Russia, international and Russian experts, heads of Russian regions and major businessmen will take part in the forum.
The main theme of the forum will be effective instruments for the social economy and political development of Dagestan and the regions of the North Caucasus.
