Output of Azerbaijani defense industry has increased 11.2-fold in the first half of 2011, compared with the same period in 2010, Trend reports.
Sessions chaired by Minister Yaver Jamalov on July 25-28 held talks on production and financing of defense structures. Production of related structures doubled.
The number of types of defense products increased 3.7-fold. Civilian production increased by 14%.
25 stages on 10 topics were fulfilled. Four initial, two state and 10 specialized tests were held. The number of realized stages doubled.
Minister Jamalov says that military industry should continue improving output.
