Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has dismissed the governor of Tula, Vyacheslav Dudka, caught in the center of a scandal about a bribe 40 million rubles worth, which was received by his subordinate, RIA Novosti reports.
One the most active members of the party "United Russia" Vladimir Gruzdev was appointed acting governor of Tula. Gruzdev is a former owner of the supermarket chain "Seventh Continent" and occupies the 104th place in the ranking of the richest Russians, according to Forbes.
