Cooperation between Iran, Azerbaijan and Turkey is significant for the
region, 1news.az reports.
A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ramin Mehmanparast,
noted the efficient and positive pace of cooperation.
Trilateral relations were initiated in Istanbul in early 2011. A
meeting was held in Urmia on April 16. A declaration was passed for
development of the economy, tourism, science and culture, development
of regional and international organizations, prevention of conflicts
amd protection of territorial unity.
The foreign ministers of the three states will meet in Nakhchyvan in
October 2011.
